About the farm:
Louth run a scheme in conjunction with Agricycle to help neighbouring farmers to recycle farm packaging waste. This is recycled into products such as compost bins and drain pipes.
The popular Round Louth Walk passes through Louth Park next to the old ruins of Louth Abbey.

Name: Ian Watson
About Ian: Having worked at Louth Park since 1994 in various management roles across the business, I have gained a wealth of knowledge about the business which has allowed me to develop into my current role as Farm Manager, a role I took on in 2008. This wide-ranging knowledge-base has led to the further development of our individual client needs and I have a strong customer-focused outlook.
The Louth business covers many land types and agreement formats, from contract farming to cropping licenses, which takes me onto over 50 farms in a 30-mile radius of the Louth office.
I have a strong, well-motivated and committed team at Louth, who take great pride in their work and their equipment. We treat our clients’ assets as our own, and our commitment to getting the job done well is one of main focuses.
Outside of work, I am Chair of Governors at a local Primary Academy and enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys. I enjoy all forms of countryside sports and I am joint Shoot Captain on a small local shoot.
